Disturbing strangeness

What is the connection between a black glove left on a fruit stall or the shadow of a trash can on the ground which transforms it into something from another planet? In this series I wanted to make the familiar look strange and sometimes disturbing. Anxiety, images from the news, series or even dreams influenced me to produce pictures that seem independent of each other and yet it seems to me that an invisible thread connects them to create a story.

Inquiétante étrangeté

Quel est le rapport entre un gant noir laissé sur un étal de fruits ou l’ombre d’une poubelle sur le sol qui la transforme en être venu d’ailleurs. Dans cette série j’ai voulu rendre le familier, étrange et parfois inquiétant. Une anxiété chronique, des images d’actualité ou même des rêves inquiétants m’ont influencé pour produire des photographies qui semblent indépendantes les unes des autres et pourtant il me semble qu’un fil invisible les relie et en font un récit.
